Series of two, Wood, branches and earth, [ Approx. 18" by 36" by 24" each ]

Within an old salvaged wood box, bottomless and without lids, I secured branches vertically by ramming damp earth
around them.
Once placed on the ground the branches bend under the weight. Over a few hours, the boxes began to
dry out until the earth could no longer remain compacted. Shortly after a review of the work, one collapsed in a gasp
of dust and a thud. The larger one followed the same demise with in the hour. These boxes then had a life span, the
earth was working with the wood, the boxes were running.
